If you're not prepared, air travel can be tough. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these handy hints for a comfortable start to your time in Ze Doca. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First, put in your passport, travel documents, cash and medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling book and a phone crammed with your favorite movies are always good options. If you intend to take a short nap, a quality neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll arrive at your destination feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp or pointed objects hiding in your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include flammable or explosive products, such as fuel and fireworks, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Choose flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to bring a jacket in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- The result of prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect some passengers on long-distance flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your ankles and legs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
