“Really nice room. Cosy bar and restaurant. The Four out of five for the staff because they sat around us chatting whilst we were having breakfast. It felt a little like we were in the way of their conversation. Dined here on two evenings and one breakfast. Very good meals apart from a massively overpriced “cauliflower steak” - ordered out of curiosity but I should have asked first. It was just a roasted head of cauliflower… and not that big a one, either, but the price didn’t reflect...

“Superb breakfast menu, excellent chef and warm welcome. Room was warm and bathroom was clean. Everything spoke of excellence. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will return. Housekeeping do an excellent job too.”

“Very nice stay, room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, full English, used the restaurant for evening meal which was very enjoyable. Wasn’t keen on the very small smart TV in the room but owners were lovely and so was Hannah. A wonderful waitress ”
