“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The luggage storage facility was great for both pre and post check in. Will stay again when next in Chester if the price is right”

“We loved the 2 rooms we had here - a lot of amenities were provided in a small space. Communication and instructions for the late check in were excellent. Beds were comfy and it was quiet at night. Great locations with lots of restaurants in the close vicinity.”

“The cat was a welcome bonus. The food was good.”

“Overall is satisfactory even not perfect.”

“Within a short walk from the centre of Chester. Good railway links to both Liverpool and Manchester. Nice relaxed atmosphere.”

“I’d booked for a room in the Queens Wing however was given a room in the Kings wing. The room was quite dated, the carpet was old and lots of wear and tear. The room and corridors were musty smelling. The reception and bar area have been refurbished since my last visit however the rest of the hotel still needs work!”

“We had a really nice 2 night stay, all of the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great and there were a few choices, we also ate there one evening and the food was delicious. The only downside was the bed was very low and not very comfortable for us but others might find it ok. There is also off road parking which is a bonus and it’s a 10/15 minute walk into Chester. Overall we were very happy with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.”

“Room was very clean, on-suite ws was on the”

“Really good location that was in the heart of downtown and a close walk to everything.”
