"The Sheraton Hotel Toronto is located in a super great spot in Downtown Toronto. It is situated beside the famous Toronto City Hall and within walking distance to Yonge Shopping Street, where you can find the Eaton Shopping Mall as well as many individual shops and restaurants. You can also walk to the CN Tower from the hotel but it would take you about 15 minutes."
"I had a two-night reservation at the Royal York Hotel and arrived around 1:00 a.m. tofind a long line at the front desk. The hotel had been overbooked and was working to find accommodations for displaced guests. After waiting nearly an hour, I was informed that no room was available for me.
Fortunately, the staff found me a room at another hotel about three miles away and advised that the room would be complimentary due to the inconvenience. While I appreciated that solution, I was later charged for the first night and initially had difficulty getting the charge corrected.
I am updating my review because the hotel has since resolved the issue and refunded the charge. Although the experience was frustrating at the time, I appreciate that they ultimately stood behind their commitment and made things right. For that reason, I am updating my rating to five stars."
"I have stayed at One King West many times, as it has been my hotel of choice in the dt region . I found a significant difference in the standard of the hotel this trip. The cleanliness of the hotel, the ambiance of the lobby bar, restaurant service , etc., were all a lower standard than previous stays. I travelled with my senior parents who I had told how great the hotel was . My parents did not have hot water in their room for the first twenty four hours of their stay ( after traveling ). It took a very strong stance to get this rectified . The customer service was very poor. Overall , it wasn’t a positive experience like it’s been in the past."
"Stayed 2 nights and paid a very high price per night and complained multiple times to the staff about the AC not working. First afternoon was moved to another room and same problem. For the price they are charging we expect the room to function properly. After the second complaint and offered another room, no further resolution was offered regarding the room being too hot. Checked out today June 13, 2026 and I see some other recent reviews experiencing the same issues we did. They should be offering some partial refunds."
"Staff was great and very responsive, tuere was every amenity required on tue premise.
There are only a few little minor details that were a miss.
The windows were dirty on the inside where the main bed was, one could see marks of the previous tenant on them.
The shower curtain needs to be changed since it could not be closed properly and water was leaking on the side of it which created water damage right next to the bathtub, the wall was being slowly destroyed.
One of the chairs of the kitchen was very wobbly.
All in all, nothing really major to complain of. The sight was wonderful and the building was secured (which is a big plus considering the hogh rate of homeless people in the neighborhood)."
