"The room was very clean & well maintained. Lovely breakfast basket provided. Located right in the city centre. Free long stay car park 1 minute walk. Power shower in room. Spoke to reception and were very helpful and friendly. Definitely stay again."

"I confess that I was a bit disappointed when I first arrived - but the room was big and well appointed with an updated bathroom, and changed my tune., it’s walking distance to everything in town. It wasn’t hot inside during the heat wave, hurrah! The building itself is a bit shabby but the room was great. Very noisy at night so bring earplugs. We were lucky to get a parking spot in the street in front, but the train station car park is the backup. Breakfast was basic continental fare and kept us going."

"Had a 2 night stay. Booked this property as it had an elevator and travelling with an elderly parent with reduced mobility. On arrival late in the evening we learned that both elevators were out of order. We were on the 3rd floor with no other suitable rooms available. With assistance from staff and another guest we made it to the room. We were able to switch to a lower room the next morning. All staff were very apologetic and went out of their way to help us make the stay positive despite the challenges, Including moving all our luggage to the new room while we were out. Rooms were roomy, clean with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good with choice of a full cooked breakfast or continental. Despite the elevator challenge I would recommend the hotel and visit again."

"Had a fantastic one night stay here. Everything was clean, and easy to find & use. There was some minor confusion regarding the listed check-in time, but this was very easily resolved by the proactive communication from the hosts. Would definitely stay again, and for longer!"

"On bus route to Holy Island. Bus times subject to tides. Close to A1. Rooms are in separate annex next to Inn so quiet. Good car park. Food well prepared and presented with interesting seasonal menu. Good variety of choices for breakfast including excellent veggie breakfast. Recommend."
