The property was amazing! The staff and service was great! Breakfast was great! ATM on property which was very convenient! The only complaint is that you can hear EVERYTHING inside the treehouses, including our neighbors having sex! Loud sex! At 2am.

A little piece of heaven!

Casa Hormiga was a beautiful place to stay. It blended well with the zen feeling of Bacalar. The style and overall feel was very peaceful. I loved the morning yoga sessions. The staff was super helpful and made you feel very comfortable. Thank you Casa Hormiga for a beautiful vacation!

I loved my stay at Casa Hormiga. Everything was excellent, including the fantastic cocktails from the bar, the delicious food with lots of vegetarian options, the quiet pools and the comfortable room. We were there during a slow month so the hotel wasn't full, which meant we had the pool all to ourselves and it never felt busy at breakfast either. The city is walkable from here but it's not right in the middle of the noisy areas either.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Hormiga. The pristine grounds, excellent service, and unique activities like the "House Ritual" with the Cacao Ceremony and massage made it a standout destination. The rooms were spacious, room service was good and the location very walkable. Special shout-out to Ruben, who was hilarious and extremely welcoming. I’ll be back one day!

Not only was the property lovely, the food was delicious and the staff were above and beyond kind and helpful. While I was there, I needed medical attention. The staff worked as translators with the hospital, set up taxi rides, and checked in on me frequently. So generous. The pool area is clean and calming. My hammock on the porch, alluring. The beds were comfortable and the showers hot. No complaints at all. Casa Hormiga is quiet and peaceful. It is only a few blocks to the lake or the plaza... very convenient. I'd stay there again any day.
