Review for K Maison

I had a lovely stay at K Maison Lanna Boutique Hotel—it’s a beautiful property in a fantastic location, offering a serene and stylish retreat in Chiang Mai. The ambiance, decor, and overall atmosphere were wonderful, making it a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing stay. However, there were a couple of moments when I felt like I was inconveniencing a staff member, which slightly affected the overall experience. Additionally, I was informed that the lobby bar was open from 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM, but every time I went, there was no staff available. When I asked if I could order a drink, the only option offered was beer. This was misleading and a bit disappointing, as I was expecting a functional bar with more choices. That said, the hotel still has a lot to offer, and I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. The location is excellent, the property is beautifully designed, and despite the minor inconveniences, it remains a great place to stay. Would I stay here again? Probably!

不建議行動不便旅客入住，出入大堂及客房都必須上落樓梯。 熱水有時會不夠熱度。 問了職員，原來酒店剛開了2.5月，可能大堂職員未夠熟練有小插曲，check-in 時漏了還回passpor 俾我。 整間酒店職員，態度十分好。

We felt very special!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this nice and cozy boutique hotel with an interesting conceptual design. What made this place particularly special is the friendly and very caring personnel. We arrived to Chiang Mai on the my birthday day and the staff on reception figured it out (probably just seeing our passports) and prepared a wonderful surprise for me with the whole team appearing with a cake and singing Happy Birthday song at our room door. It was so touching and made me feel so special! The hotel is new and very clean. Location is also quite convinient. One can easily get to the historical part of Chiang Mai just using the so called "red car" or Songthaew (30 bahts per person). It is cheaper than taxi and even tuk-tuk and a great fun as well. Also note that there are really nice restaurants very close to K Maison Lanna hotel. Our recommendation will be Samsen Villa Chiang Mai restaurant (has a garden and situated on the river bank). Also make sure you make a reservation for a traditional Khantoke dinner in a nearby restaurant. The dinner and show starts at 18:00 and hotel reception can help you to make a reservation. Enjoy your stay in Chiang Mai!

My all time favorite boutique hotel. We used to stay at this brand in Bangkok 3 years ago. This time we choose this because of the brand and absolutely it's amazing. The room is so clean and well design. Staff is professional and helpful. Location is hidden but in the city area and convenience for me. Really impress about this hotel. Can't wait to visit your next destination.

A triumph of style over substance in this B and B

Beautifully styled building somewhat removed from the centre of Chiang Mai, so either a hot walk or get a tuktuk into town. The pool is a dipping pool, far too short for swimming. The room (no 12) was spotlessly clean, but there were only 3 hangers on a rail beside the shower for storing our clothes and everything else we had with us. No door on shower so clothes got wet every time we showered. No drawers or shelves, so we lived out of suitcases. An extra bathroom shelf is available on request, also bathrobes which we asked for but they never came. Breakfast was OK, but little choice and delivered in a wooden box by a delightful lady each morning. We asked the boy at reception to call us a taxi, but he refused telling us it wasn't fat to walk. Maybe not, but we had been out all day in the heat and were tired out. He seemed too busy on his phone to bother with guests. The night we arrived there was a big parade for New Year, but noone told us about this in the hotel, it was a passerby who asked if we knew about it. Really this is an expensive bed and breakfast, not a hotel with the service you might expect to be available. Not much in the way of drinks/snacks and no restaurant. Most staff are very pleasant, but lacking training in hospitality. Lots of stairs and no lift access for those not too sprightly, be aware.
