Chicago, Illinois hotel rooms at the Budgetel

"The room was clean and the staff was friendly. However I didn’t realize the room fridge was preloaded with purchasable items. I would have really liked a fridge for the price of the room. Also the GPS always wanted to bring me to the underground for some reason. I got lost a couple of times and started using the address for the pharmacy across the street. "

"I would highly recommend staying at this hotel! The property was clean, in a great location and had wonderful service. The breakfast included far exceeded other breakfasts offered at other hotels. The parking was also easily accessible. We received a free upgrade to a room that better suited our needs and this was something we didn’t even ask for. I will definitely be staying at this location again the next time I am in Chicago."

"Spacious, clean front lobby. Professional, helpful front desk staff. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room had a fridge and microwave/ice maker/vending machines were located by the elevators on our floor. Parking garage was convenient. $55 per night. Hotel is in great location- walkable to many restaurants and stores. My only suggestion is to update room furnishings. The carpet was very worn and desk looked outdated/chipped. But those minor things didn’t impact our wonderful 1 night stay in Chicago."

"I had a nice stay here. I didn’t have any issues with my roommates. You only get one towel but I wish we had gotten some small ones as well. It was a bit smaller than I expected. It wasn’t very quiet in the room because of the outside noise but I had brought some earplugs just in case and they helped. The only thing I didn’t like was that the temperature of the shower water wasn’t very consistent. It kept going from cold to hot and vice versa. Other than that I would say it was a pleasant stay."

"I was only in town for one day. But it was an easy seamless check-in. The room was clean and bathroom was clean. Everything in the room work and I had no need to call or any assistance. The checkout was very simple was done on my phone as I walk down the hallway before leaving."
