The hotel is ok but the staff was bad. There’s a lady called Marina that makes discounts if you leave good reviews with her name. She would say that early check in costs extra, leaving your luggage while you check in / out costs extra, etc. UNLESS you leave her a good review with her name and then she will discount 😳 disappointing. No wonder why they are good rated.

Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is a bit dated and small, layout is awkward. The TV doesn't work well. For a 4* hotel, I expect better quality toilet paper (it's the lowest grade). Sink doesn't drain quickly. I was stuck in Chicago due to flight cancellations so paid over $400 a night and it's surged pricing since all the airport hotels were out. Location is really convenient though.

There really aren’t any amenities. Ice buckets in the room but no cups-only over priced water bottles for purchase. No coffee makers either. The AC unit was so loud when turning on and off, I hardly was able to sleep. No real breakfast options - under ripened fruit and tiny cups for ‘complementary’ coffee. Will not stay here again.

decent property - definitely shows better in photos. that was probably my biggest let-down. also, only staying one night, the room cleaner came into our room at 8 am despite check out time not being until noon. my kid was still asleep and I was in the shower. front desk service level definitely elevated the rating.

Don’t expect a full service hotel, but it is suitably located, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, it was clean, and again, I can’t say enough about staff friendliness. Our room was tiny, so if you intend to spend a lot of time in the room, keep that in mind. But, we were out and about and enjoyed our stay very much!

The rooms are very very small. Breakfast isnt included but can be ordered for a fee. Smelled great but didnt purchase it. Besides some kind of noise below our room early morning lasting for a couple hours . It was a great place if you dont need space.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Felix! While it may not technically be a five-star luxury chain, it definitely gave us five-star hotel vibes thanks to the incredible staff and the fantastic extra perks.The location is absolutely awesome. It puts you about a mile or so from all the major hotspots, including Navy Pier, the Riverwalk, and the Magnificent Mile. There are tons of excellent places to eat right nearby, and having a Divvy bike rental station right down the street made exploring the city incredibly easy.The service from the staff was top-notch from start to finish. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a stylish, perfectly located, and highly accommodating place to stay in Chicago!
