The hotel staff were polite, friendly, helpful and great at check in. Our room service staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and were so lovely.
We had a negative experience at Sunday buffet breakfast, where we were seated at the end of a large table where there was clearly a large group sitting there. The restaurant was busy, but the staff seated us there. As I waited at the table, my daughter was getting breakfast when a man sat in her seat. I politely told him my daughter was sitting there, and the man next to him told me โtoo bad, we were here first, we are not movingโ. I was quite upset by this and then asked to be moved to a different table. I would have preferred to wait then deal with difficult customers.
Our room was nice. But we found the floor had not been cleaned well. There was broken plastic on the floor, a rolled up sock from the previous guest that had not been cleaned or removed. I strongly doubt the floor was cleaned. We also found a sea shell on the bathroom vanity.
The bed was comfortable and we had a good nightโs rest.
