“This hotel is nice enough but needs investment and to examine its pricing structure. It looks and feels dated. Everything was 'okay'. Clean with good staff, but the food and rooms were average at best and extremely overpriced. The most annoying thing for me was that a pint of lemonade and lime was more expensive than any of the pints of beer. That is simply wrong. I had an Executive Room. This just means that your room is in the original house rather than the annex. Again, it was 'okay', but...

“The room wasn't as clean as expected. The electric outlets didn't work. Someone came rapidly to fix it. At the restaurant, the server didn't bring us water like the others neither come back to see how we were doing. It is a good quality price. Even with those inconvénients, we would go back for a short journey. One or two days.”

“We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn.”

“If you like to be constantly disturbed throughout the night and a gratuitous early morning wake up call, then let me tell you - this place has got just the room for you! Room 202 will not disappoint! Situated directly above the kitchen/ staff area, this room is perfectly positioned for a nightmare stay. Whilst in this room you can expect music and kitchen noise until 10pm and you will really enjoy a very early morning wake up (talking 5am ish) from staff preparing breakfasts, whistling, plates...

“My stay here was an amazing experience. The restaurant offered service on par with what you would expect from a hotel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and made a lasting impression. While the cleanliness of the room and the lack of transportation options could be considered minor downsides, the room quality was still reasonable given the price. Since I was already aware of the isolated location, it wasn't an issue for me.”

The Kings Head is well situated for exploring Hampshire via public transport and/or car and seems to be a bit of a hub for local residents. The room along with the rest of the hotel is decorated to a good level to make our weekend stay comfortable.”
