“We had a brief stay at the Tollgate Inn. After arriving on a warm sunny day, it was great to sit outside with the locals and enjoy a refreshing drink. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both were very good. The staff were very attentive and friendly despite being very busy, this is a popular place. Clean room but a bit small.”

“A lovely stay just outside Bath The hotel looks stunning from the outside, especially in the evening when the façade and grounds are beautifully lit up. A real plus is the layout: the guest rooms are situated in a separate building away from the main bar and dining area, which meant our stay was peaceful and free from pub noise. Our room was surprisingly spacious, bright, and well equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The location worked out brilliantly for us as well....

“약간 산속에 있어서 찾기 힘들수도 있지만, 어짜피 차로 이동해서 숙소로 들어가실거면 Bath근처의 비싼 호텔보다는 훨씬 좋아요. 아침에 일어나면 주변에 아주 조용한 풍경에 감동입니다. 그리고 이곳의 음식들이 아주 맛있습니다. 숙소내부 리노베이션을 작년 가을에 다시 했다고 합니다. 그래서인지 아주 깨끗해요. 대중교통 여행객 아니고, 조용한 곳을 원하는 여행객이라면 저는 적극 추천입니다. ”

“전반적으로 만족하였으나 개선 사항이 있습니다. 첫 번째, 수건을 재 사용하고 새것으로 갈아 주지를 않습니다 바닥에 두고 발을 닦은 수건을 방 히터에 올려 두고 말리고 재사용하라고 합니다. 두 번째, 와이파이가 불안정하고 너무 느립니다. 세 번째, 밤 11시가 되면 호텔에 직원이 아무도 없고 모든 문을 잠구어 버려서 완전히 갇히게 됩니다. 작은 호텔이라 이해는 되지만 아무도 없으니까 불안하기도 했습니다.”

“the Barge is a pub with accomodation in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Although the staff are welcoming and the room was clean, the overall appearance of the pub is that it is shabby and run down. The carpet on the staircase leading to the bedrooms was grubby and had a large hole in it. outside the garden furniture has seen better days and there is a canopy which has come adrift from its fixings and been lashed to the outside bar. “The Ordmond at Tetbury is a great place to stay while in Tetbury. It’s one of the few places that allows accommodations for 3 in one room. The hotel is in the heart of Tetbury, easy access to all the local shops and restaurants. We ate twice there while in Tetbury for the weekend, both times the food was good, especially the Sunday roast. Would recommend to anyone visiting Tetbury.”
