Comfortable rooms that were clean and well equipped. Sky on TV was unexpected bonus for late night movie. Very easy and good communication. 10 min Uber20 min walk from city centre so very well positioned to enjoy Christchurch

Clean room. great shower. Comfy bed. Whole property needs a bit of a spruce up as it’s looking tired however this doesn’t detract from the stay. Note also no daily service although fresh towels etc are available from laundry. Great location. I’m a return traveller at Amross

Its not at all obvious when booking this property how self service it is. There is no room service at all during stay; help yourself to fresh towels etc in laundry room. Expensive laundry diy laundry facilities:$1/ 10 minutes of dryer use! Rooms are clean but dated.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The only criticism is, the number sent by text for using the key code to open the door was missing a vital element. I spent 10 minutes trying to gain entry. Finally, I gave up and spoke to someone on the intercom (the office wasn’t manned). I had to add # after the number. If that had been on the text, I would have been in the room first try. Just a minor thing.
