“Just staying a couple of nights in Exeter on a cycling trip. This was economical and convenient, about 15 minute walk into the centre. Room was typical student accommodation: compact, en suite toilet and shower, Wi-Fi/Tea Making/towels / no TV. Room was clean, check-in was easy with friendly helpful staff who also offered secure cycle storage. Breakfast was extra in the main dining hall. Everything was OK for me. ”

“The hosts could not have been more helpful. The copper room was better than I expected, with a very large comfortable bed, an area to eat, lots of tea & coffee and even fresh milk. The en suit was well designed with a large shower and good quality soft towels. I would not hesitate to return or recommend, this is one of the best rooms we have rented. ”

“We had a very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast at The Spinney for our 2 night stay. It is an interesting old building detailed by Marie-Ann in the guest information book, and has a garden where one can sit and enjoy the views. Our room was well equipped with tea tray etc and Marie - Ann's delicious home made biscuits. We would certainly recommend this place to friends. ”
