Pleasant one night stay at Stern Hotel

Very happy with my stay, including checkin, the room itself, the top notch restaurant and the breakfast (included with the room charge). All of the staff were very friendly and professional and spoke English.

We loved the hotel stern and would stay there again. It’s a beautifully restored old building with each bedroom having a unique configuration and furniture. The staff was great and the food was fantastic. The town itself is very charming and this hotel lives up to the charm of Chur.

The beautiful historic Hotel Stern was phenomenal. The location was great. The staff was top notch and very accommodating. The restaurant was superb. The food was amazing the service was on point. It definitely lived up to its Michelin star. We will definitely return.

Although the hotel is not air-conditioned, there was a fan. Please be aware that the single economy rooms are very basic. The breakfast was quite good and in a very nice room.

This is a very traditional hotel, a little small and tired in places but ‘quaint’ . Breakfast was included and ok. Room was freezing on arrival but managed to turn the radiator up. Shower very small but serviceable for just one night. Would of liked additional pillows but to be fair we didn’t ask.

Stayed here for a night after riding the Bernina Express from Tirano. The room was small and only had one outlet, but we were not planning to spend a lot of time in the room. Otherwise, I loved the look of the room along with the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. It was a great experience staying in a hotel built over 300 years ago.
