"The room and check-in process was great over all. However, there was a leak in one of the bathrooms. When occupants of the above unit showered, one of the bathroom in my unit would also have water coming down from the ceiling light in the shower. We were a little worried if there might be an electrocution risk in that bathroom. I phoned the management right the way when it happened, they never sent anyone. The next day I guess the people in the unit above checked out, so we did not have any leaking problem anymore. But I do wonder if the management actually already know the problem but never bothered to fix it."

"The staff were friendly and spoke English. The hotel’s check in time is at 4pm but if you arrive early, they allow you to store your luggage so you can head out and explore the city while you wait. It’s about 20min walk to Old Quebec City but keep in mind the route to Old Quebec js uphill so the walk can be a bit challenging. Overall, it was a great stay. The place was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only minor downside was the water pressure in the bathroom was a little bit weak."

"When you are in Quebec City, this is the place to stay. First, the apartment rooms are clean and spacious. These rooms have space! It's a modern place, not like an old cramped hotels in Quebec City. You can walk to the old city in about 25-30 minutes depending on where you are going or take an uber for $12-$14 when it's not rush hour. If you are concerned about the check-in process, the front staff will help you and walk you through it. I'm not that intelligent or confident using the phone process to fill out the form but I was able to do it. The apartment was well equiped with everything from detergent to dishwasher pods to towels to pots, plates and wine glasses, stove, microwave, large fridge, and everything you need if you want to cook."

"Complicated visit. Facility was very nice and location was very handy. As others have noted the area has a very high level of unhoused folks due to a soup kitchen directly across the street - this resulted in some level of street activity we would have preferred not to experience but it was not in fact threatening or actively dangerous, just not desired. There were excellent restaurants immediately nearby. Encountered some difficulty working with customer service due to our mutual lack of French and English. We did not initially receive the paid for QR code for parking. Took a lot of effort to resolve this though the local CS staff at Lofts tried very hard. The last issue that was difficult - the next to last day of our visit we were notified we would be experience a shutdown of electrical service from 8:15 to 4:30 and would not have elevator service. Power went out at 8:15 and parts of the bldg switched to emergency lighting. By mid afternoon that lighting had died out and the keypads at each room door were dead. Internal venting of air as well as heating or cooling was dead as was wifi and internet. We could not leave the room w/o leaving one of us behind to let us back into the room. Later we learned thru CS that we could access (with some difficulty) a physical key from a lock box which let us into our room, would have been a good chance for CS to be proactive! This lasted until after 8:00 PM! Unacceptable!"
