“Bearing in mind the time of year (Sept) weather was poor so heating inside the piggery was inadequate to heat the internal fabric of the whole unit. “I used The Dolphin Tavern for 1 night with my wife. The location is walking distance from Penzance Station(about 10 minutes.) However, my Google Maps App had problem with the location so it took more than that. The room was great. It might be inconvenient for some people as it does not have any elevators but it seems like only 2 floor building. So, unless you have a large luggage, it won't be a problem. The bath towels were generously sized and fluffy. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. Guests could also order items from the kitchen. Overall, this hotel surpasses my expectations for a 3-star hotel.”

“The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!”

“The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. ”
