“It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the B&B to the causeway out to St. Michael's Mount (we didn't have a car). But it was probably the nicest place we stayed on our three-week trip to Ireland and southwestern England! It's next to a pasture with horses and has a lovely lawn with chairs, and the bathroom and bedroom and kitchen areas are large and beautifully appointed. We wished we could stay longer!”

“I used The Dolphin Tavern for 1 night with my wife. The location is walking distance from Penzance Station(about 10 minutes.) However, my Google Maps App had problem with the location so it took more than that. The room was great. It might be inconvenient for some people as it does not have any elevators but it seems like only 2 floor building. So, unless you have a large luggage, it won't be a problem. Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. Already planning a return visit.”

“Good location and great if you are travelling to area with out a car. Flat was clean and comfortable but with a little attention to detail could easily be elevated to a really good flat. Entrance needs a good clean and paint and better street signage on the door. Shower very temperamental, scalding hot or freezing cold. Outside area could be easily do with a bit of attention. Seems as if the owner has lost heart and passion in this lovely little flat. ”

Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre.
