“I used The Dolphin Tavern for 1 night with my wife. The location is walking distance from Penzance Station(about 10 minutes.) However, my Google Maps App had problem with the location so it took more than that. The room was great. It might be inconvenient for some people as it does not have any elevators but it seems like only 2 floor building. So, unless you have a large luggage, it won't be a problem. However, due to the Tavern's history the water facility was quite noisy. When I flushed...

“Off street parking was a god send.Great breakfast and restaurant food.”

“Unusual "arty" decor. Very clean. Rooms and beds are very small. Breakfast NOT included. Staff friendly and cheerful. Good location.”

“Polite and attentive for the duration of the stay. Room was exactly as described and shown in images. Very respectable B&B.”

“시내랑 좀 거리가 있는것만 제외하면 모든것이 완벽한곳입니다. 특히 리셉션에 일하시는 분 천사입니다. She so lovely kindly She always has smile . she's perfact She knews What I want before I tell her . ”

“The hotel's cosy room is great for a traveller to stay with finest bed and bath.”

“Great accommodation for my Wife and I and our dog. Text from the hosts letting us know when it was ready a bit earlier was a very nice touch. Very clean and tidy with all the equipment needed for our short stay. Lovely views of the area and a great location for exploring. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area rather than the impersonal stay of a hotel.”

“What a wonderful stay we had at Walter. The house is very well maintained with lots of thoughtful little extras and decorations. Communication with the property owners worked like a charm, key was on site with a code sent to us for opening the box directly at the front door. We would love to come back, enjoyed our time at this fantastic little cottage.”

“Great location for what we wanted and the rooms were lovely. Good value and we’d definitely come back. ”

“Amazing house”

“Stayed here for a week during the Kernowman triathlon. Needed something on a budget and this more than delivered. Excellent facilities. Some quirks that might make access difficult if you have limited mobility but this is addressed by a stair lift. This is also referenced in the property details. Staff were very friendly.”

“The property was clean and presented well. It was a nice touch with the welcome basket and milk tea/coffee. There were shops/restaurants close by and about. 10 min walk to take buses/trains to other parts of Cornwall. A couple of negatives but not a big deal is that we had to buy toilet paper as we were only left with one spare roll for our 5 night stay. There were roadworks right outside the house every day for the five days.. work crews would show up with machines and start working at...

“The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. Map apps and a GPS do not recognize the exact location of the cottage. It took us a long time to find the cottage. Sykes Cottages list the cottage to have a washer (there...
