“This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended.”

“This hotel provided a reasonably sized, clean, and comfortable room. The bathroom, though a bit small, was clean and well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The bath towels were generously sized and fluffy. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. Guests could also order items from the kitchen. Overall, this hotel surpasses my expectations for a 3-star hotel.”

“The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!”

“Unbelievably hot room on a mild spring day. Our room was small, but clearly inadequately ventilated as even with the provided Dyson fan permanently on full blast and the window open the room was stiflingly hot on a day that didn’t exceed 16 degrees. ”

Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. If you plan on being in this part of Cornwall, you should definitely book this home. Geoff & Jan are wonderful hosts.”
