“From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

“Could be outstanding but the kitchen lets them down. The location, hotel and staff are wonderful but the food is where the shine falls off. Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel...”

“Breakfast was just ok, certainly not really a good value. Rooms are dark, low ceilings, out-updated furniture, etc. All in all, the hotel is good enough, though one may not think of it as a spa like experience, especially when considering that this is one of the attractions/ amenities that they are offering & advertising.”

“Lovely B&B, we really enjoyed staying over in Bibury… a very quiet little parish - but nice to be able to spend the day & enjoy both of the pubs. The B&B was ideal, much cheaper than staying at the Swan & only a few minutes walk into the ‘town’. Yes it was a little noisy, as has been mentioned before, but not really anymore than staying in a hotel I’d imagine + earplugs are provided if upstairs are too noisy for you!
