"We spent a weekend at the Dom Hotel for sightseeing, shopping and to visit the Augsburger Xmas market, only a 10 minute walk away. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, the room and bathroom room were both functional, spacious and very clean. There was an excellent German breakfast selection. We definitely would stay here again."

The hotel was undergoing renovations, and there were workers with mortar and cement at the tiny reception room. "1 appearance on arrival was amazing 2 use of the room facilities was disappointing because several of the ceiling light bulbs were missing or not working. 3 The bed frame was not secure and had loose joints but the mattress was ok. 4 bathroom was impressive but lacked a safety feel. The shower did not have all its outlets working and looked very dated. There were no grab handles to aid the climbing in and out of the cubicle as there was a high step in and being elderly leg stability is not...
