โWe had a great stay. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and communicative before we came up.

โAbsolute gem - beautiful accommodation and fabulous staff.
Highlight of my stay was throwing the ball for their two awesome Border Collies and chatting to the staff/managers at breakfast. โ
โCanโt fault the service, canโt remember the ladies name on desk but she was so attentive.. really friendly hotel. Cannot fault and would stay again without a doubt. โ
โThe Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.

โA simple hotel in the middle of Stourbridge. Rooms are adequate in size, the bed is comfortable and there's a good shower in the bathroom.
There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent.
Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful.โ
โWhat a find. On driving up to the lroperty, we were taken back with the beauty. We were apprehensive asnon a univereity site but to need to be at all.
Check in easy and free parking.
Walked through busy bar (2 weddings on) but no issues at all. A little noise heard from room until music finished but was grand.
Our dog also had a super time

โMy stay at Ramala was quite good. The breakfast was excellent, but the rooms donโt have any AC, which was a bit uncomfortable in the warm weather. If youโre working or sleeping, itโs best to put the โDo Not Disturbโ sign out as the cleaners tend to bang on the doors. Aldi and Asda are just a 1-2 minute walk away, while McDonaldโs and other food stores are about 5-10 minutes depending on your pace. Overall, Iโd rate it 8 out of 10.โ
