โVery efficient, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The surrounding area felt a bit run down and unsafe. However the train station was nearby and there are several bus routes available. โ
โThe Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.

โWhat a find. On driving up to the lroperty, we were taken back with the beauty. We were apprehensive asnon a univereity site but to need to be at all.
Check in easy and free parking.
Walked through busy bar (2 weddings on) but no issues at all. A little noise heard from room until music finished but was grand.
Our dog also had a super time

โAfter a long motorbike trip from Plymouth to Harrogate my husband stayed here for a night half way he said it was an absolute gem and loved his room and bathroom. The pub was welcoming and friendly and had a food truck too. โ

โReally good value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms. Basic facilities, but we had everything we needed.
Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food options were good quality and well presented.
Although it was a pub on a Saturday night, there were no issues with noise. I would definitely stay here again. โ
