“It’s very good hotel”

“Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, zwembad rook naar iets teveel chloor, er zaten hier en daar wat beestjes en bladeren in het zwembad. Uitgebreid ontbijt, mocht zelf aangeven hoelaat we het ontbijt wilde. Bed was prima voor ons wat niet vaak voorkomt. Al met al een prima gite.”

“Very good location I. The center of St. Emilion. Very spacious room and shower. Tea and coffee available I. The common area. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but the host guided us to nearby free parking. She was very helpful in sourcing a taxi and suggesting places to go nearby”

Special thanks to Anton for giving us a tour of the property and for answering all our questions on the wine making process. It’s really fascinating ! Our room was quaint and cosy. And it was nice to have access to the large and modern living room 24/7. My husband and I highly recommend a stay at Chateau Bonalgue to anyone looking for an experience less impersonal than a hotel reservation.”

“Fanny, une hôtesse exceptionnelle, accueillante, je n'avais pas réservé de repas pour le soir, elle s'est quand même adaptée à la situation et a su trouver des solutions ( clin d'œil au départ tôt de 7:00)Le lieu est paisible, le cadre exceptionnel est propice à la relaxation. L'échange a été fluide, simple, bienveillant et chaleureux. Je ne peux que recommander”

“Very friendly and welcoming greeting on arrival. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good but be careful, the bath was very slippery, the shower however had good pressure and nice toiletries were provided. It is a period building and there was no AC but a fan was provided and due to the high ceilings the room was not excessively hot. The pool was amazing. Absolutely fabulous! We were encouraged to relax and enjoy the surrounding areas and make use of the...
