"Stayed a couple of nights in August. Nice bar and pub restaurant right in the centre of Arundel. On street parking was easy to find on a Sunday night and there's a large Pay and Display car park right at the back of the hotel. Nicely appointed and well-equipped room albeit a bit small for 2 adults and 2 dogs plus luggage to fit commfortably (maybe bigger rooms exist). Helpful staff and a good breakfast included. We found out on departure that they offer a discount for anyone attending cricket at Arundel Castle which is worth knowing for next time. Recommended."

"My wife and I had a wonderful three night stay to celebrate her birthday. We loved everything about the hotel and its location and staff. Minor niggles with water temperature in the bathroom can be forgiven. Planning to be back in the future."

"We liked every thing about our visit. A beautiful garden and very well designed car parking. A warm welcome and a very comfortable private bedroom room with outside table and chairs for two. Bathroom and bedding of the highest quality and absolutely spotless. A modern easy to use walk in shower. Welcoming and friendly staff who provided a great breakfast."

"Absolutely immaculate accommodation. AC in the bedrooms was fab. Could do with it in the bar and restaurant too. The menu is a bit limited but the food was good. Friendly staff."

"On arrival we were unable to access the property and had to wait for another guest to let us in. Smooth check process thereafter, Michael receptionist lovely and welcoming. Property description is not entirely what it seems as whole chalet is a bit miss leading, the rooms are part of a large building and spacious, clean rooms. Slightly dated, it is a charity which explains the decor and layout. No bar at the weekend, no swimming pool at the weekend. Good location, would stay again now I understand what i am getting."

"We stayed in the Filbert Pod in November 2025 for a nearby family event and can’t fault it at all - the pod was clean, comfortable and warm during the cold snap, and is located in a very peaceful and quiet location - and that’s before mentioning the excellent hot tub! The A27 is in easy reach if travelling by car, and there are frequent buses only 5 minutes walk away to Yapton village centre going in the directions of Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. If you are considering a stay here - it’s well worth it - and we certainly will return again in the future. Thanks Pauline and Paul!"
