"De kamer was erg warm en bedompt. Hotel is wat oubollig en mag wel een likje verf hebben. Buitenzijde ziet er niet uit, binnen is het redelijk. Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel zelf heeft geen eetgelegenheid. Werkt samen met ‘Beef Eater’ naast de deur. Ontbijt was zeer beperkt tot alleen zoetigheid, brood en pannenkoeken, of je moest het typisch Engels ontbijt kiezen. Verder geen kaas of vleeswaren.

"Lovely, quiet and comfortable room, very clean. They were so helpful and got our rooms ready early at our request, as we had a wedding to go to at 1pm. Breakfast was excellent too, a lovely full English breakfast cooked to order. Absolutely great, would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"Wow! What an incredible place! Lovely location, and an absolutely spotless apartment. Beautifully designed and with everything needed such as a dishwasher and utensils, all done to an incredibly high standard. The photos on the listing are spot on. The finish, especially in the bathroom and kitchen, is really high end and even things like the bed sheets are super soft and comfy. Would recommend to anyone! 😊
I’m ashamed to say that I only looked at this apartment because I needed somewhere to stay during a music festival and it was so much cheaper than the closest (purple!) budget hotel, with masses more space and a much nicer outlook, but honestly it’s worth three times as much as their rooms. So, so glad I found this place."

"St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive.
Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing pleasant place to be.
Definitely recommended and I would definitely stay there again, hopefully for longer."
