โSt Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive.
Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...
โStaff amazing, facilities a little dated but end of season so bound to be the case. We had our five year old grand daughter so outside games brilliant, pool brilliant and option to eat in hotel a great help. Good selection for breakfastโ
โStunning. Whether in winter for cozy fires or in summer for the pool and beach, a special place with excellent service. Very dog friendly and we found our classic room spacious and comfortable โ
โWas a gorgeous place to stay with beautiful views of the hotel and from the hotel. Lovely grounds outside the hotel for walking, your doggy or dogs and lovely walks around shortpark of a few minutes to Sandown Beach and lovely shops around thoroughly. Enjoyed my stay. Great food and great breakfast they served and would recommend to anyone. Will be staying again soonโ
โWe stayed in an appartment across from the hotel. Very good spot for beach and transport. Was very clean but needed plenty of updating. Rotton window in bathroom which also looked very tired. The whole room did need a re vamp but served us very well.โ
