โFabulous hotel, all staff were really helpful and friendly, it was impeccably clean, facilities were excellent. We went with our grandchildren and we all had an no amazing time. โ

โWe enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower.
The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient with a good selection of beers and spirits at the bar. We ate dinner one night and the food was well cooked and of a very good quality.

โPam and Lorna are great hosts . The breakfast was amazing and the room spotless. Add to that 15 minutes walk to an awesome sandy beach itโs probably the ideal place to stay . We will be coming back , with the dog next time !โ
โThe staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. The room was called a Snug and "Snug" it certainly was. Just about ok for 1 or 2 nights but for longer stays get a bigger room.โ
โWe stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.โ
โThis has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.โ
โLovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)โ
