“First time staying at a Holiday Inn but can thoroughly recommend this one in Portsmouth. Only staying overnight before getting the ferry but wished we could stay longer. Managed to do some shopping at Gun Wharf & enjoy the surrounding area. All within easy reach to hotel. ”

“Lovely hotel, with bags of charm. A great garden, fab pool with doors opening to the garden. Staff were friendly and attentive. A tip if you are a light sleeper is to avoid Rm. 205 as the air con unit is directly beneath and rumbles on and off throughout the night. It wasn’t too much of a problem for us but worth knowing. ”

“We only booked an overnight stay at the hotel together with a pre theatre dinner. Check in & check out was quick and easy. All the staff throughout our stay were polite & helpful. The room was a good size & packed with all the usual equipment you would need for your stay which also included a mini bar. We were very surprised when we saw the height of the bed which was unusually high but very comfortable when you managed to climb on it. Would book there again.”
