โA great hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. Check-in was easy and quick. A great location being close to the town centre, bus station, Hovercraft terminal and Pier for Catermaran boat services to Portsmouth. It would have been nice if the check in time could have been a little earlier, as 4pm is quite a late time to start check in otherwise everything else was excellent. The breakfast was nice as it was included in the price of the room and you had the choice of a full English breakfast.โ
โWe enjoyed our three night stay at The Brunswick Hotel very much. We had two rooms for five of us. We particularly enjoyed the dining room with its beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast was included and the choices were delicious. In the evening the Billiard Room was a comfortable place to have a drink and review the day. We also thought the Sunday Roast was outstanding. โStayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard. Will be coming back for a longer stay next time and would certainly recommend to friends and family or people in general ๐โ

โWe stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.โ
โReally enjoyed our stay in early September this year. Quiet, clean and lovely decor. Staff.friendly and helpful. Fab breakfast. Itโs located at the bottom of the town so easy to walk to the wetlands wildlife reserve and for exploring โ
โThe staff was remarkable. They were always asking if they could do something for us. The only bad thing to say is instant coffee in the morning. They provided us a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this B&B to everyone โ
โBooked this hotel May stayed here years ago and wanted to take my parents back. It's a little dated but could not fault the breakfast or entertainment. Sally on reception is a credit to the hotel she was so friendly and helpful. Places are walkable about 10-15 mins to the beach and local bars. Would return โ
