โA lovely pub/reataurant with rooms. We stayed in โThe Apartmentโ that sleeps up to six people, with two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. โIt is next to a busy road but I didnโt hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience.โ
โDe kamer was erg warm en bedompt. Hotel is wat oubollig en mag wel een likje verf hebben. Buitenzijde ziet er niet uit, binnen is het redelijk. Personeel is vriendelijk. Hotel zelf heeft geen eetgelegenheid. Werkt samen met โBeef Eaterโ naast de deur. Ontbijt was zeer beperkt tot alleen zoetigheid, brood en pannenkoeken, of je moest het typisch Engels ontbijt kiezen. Verder geen kaas of vleeswaren.

Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...
โMy friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. โ
โThis is lovely. Accommodation is good and practical. The breakfast was really good. Tricky walk to the worlds end pub but you are in the best Sussex countryside so enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would love to have stayed longerโ
โFrom the moment we arrived to the morning we left, we were made to feel welcome. Staff were warm and friendly and eager to help make our stay a memorable one.
