“Warmly welcomed, staff all professional, friendly helpful. The atmosphere is peaceful, location stunning, loads to see in the area and wonderful walks. The grounds were fantastic to walk our dog , safe and secure.. plenty of wildlife. Will be even better when the Hide has been renovated . Bed was very comfortable and room spotless, food was good and well presented and breakfast was included in our deal . A very enjoyable visit , will be back soon”
“The staff were excellent. It's an Edwardian mansion and so some things were not ideal. It is geared for weddings, but it was good for paying guests as well.”
“This is a very nice place to stay and the Inn over the road is a great place to eat. The rooms and communal areas have been very tastefully decorated and it is very comfortable. Only one point, some of the rooms overlook a road which is surprisingly busy even in the middle of the night - not great if you are a light sleeper.”

“Extremely easy to locate the hotel using the postcode given. We arrived in Skipton rather early and parked in the long stay car park round the back which is £8.10 for 9 hours but free from 6pm- 9am. There is free parking on the side road next to the hotel if you're lucky enough to secure a space.
We had a lovely walk round Skipton centre - it's full of independent shops selling gifts, coffee, cakes and fish to name but a few. Great to see also lots of little pubs and banks/ building societies...
“Great stay the hotel has an excellent atmosphere. Staff weee extremely helpful and always happy to assist where they could. Food in the restaurant at night was superb as was the full emglybreakfast. Rooms are small but functional but clean and all that you need. Bed was comfortable shower was great.”
