“We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. “Great Hotel Room ”

“The villa itself was great but the room wasnt as clean as I expect it to be. The amenities were good, the parking was east however the pool behind registration was growing what appeared to be black mold in the 2.5 ft end and it was gross. We found this to be unacceptable especially since we watched as a staff member checked the ph and totally ignored the overwhelming growth on the pool steps, sidewalls and under the edges. ”

“Allow smoking on property ”

“I will admit when I first saw the property I was a little skeptical however it is a older property it's been around in Williamsburg forever. In this day and age if you're paying $90 for a room you really cannot expect much but at least a clean room and that is what this Howard Johnson provided. I did not get to eat their breakfast but it's smelled good. It is in the area that has shopping, everything that you need if you're on vacation, it is a good vacation spot I did not notice if it had a...

“The units were close to the recreations areas available at the site. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable to stay in. I rested very well.”

“Didn’t have any major issues. Everything went very smoothly. It was simple no extra crap that some of the hotels try to enforce. I will definitely visit again when I’m in the area.”
