“Great stay staff were all wonderful room was clean and spacious. Restaurant was awesome both food and service. Pool was large has a swim up bar. We were welcomed on arrival by an alligator (leave him alone and he’ll leave you alone) and lots of Iguana’s. Would recommend renting a vehicle or golf cart the village is about a 30 minute drive. ”

“Other than no hot water in either sink & no heat, the cabin was GREAT. Hot water in the shower. No carbon monoxide detected. Kitchen, paper towels, sun porch, water faucet outside, extra blanket, fridge... The bomb! The staff was GREAT! Modesto Pop is very helpful, you just gotta ask! Julian knows what he's doing!”

“Everything was awesome, as it always is when I stay here. The only recommendation I have, is to clean the AC units, filters and all. I didn't need to use the ne in the room I stayed in this time (cabin 4), though I could see that it hadn't been cleaned in some time. Possible leading to mold and dust build up in the filter. “5 stars. I had the best experience at Southern Corner Motel & Restaurant. The staff were the nicest and most helpful people. They made a custom vegan dish for me and it was excellent. The room was clean and quiet and I slept great. On-site washer and dryer were a big plus. They also helped arrange transportation to the ferry. I’m truly grateful for the care and attention. I highly recommend Southern Corner Motel & Restaurant.”

“We loved our stay at umaya. The beach is awesome. The whole pool area/chairs/dock and set up are awesome too. So great that you can also borrow Kayaks and paddle boards (which we did) to have morning paddles when the ocean is calmer. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff helpful and accommodating and the food at the hotel was good as well. There are also many restaurants and a supermarket (10 min drive) close to umaya without having to always make the drive...

“Had a great two night stay at The Lodge at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff members that we interacted with were helpful and accommodating......especially Julio at the front desk! Amazing room and property. Drinks and bartenders from the restaurant bar and the Big Dock bar were awesome. If we ever return to the area I can't imagine not staying here. ”

“This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :).
