Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed Iโve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area

Really lovely property for an out of town stay or if attending an event at Braxted Park Estate. We really enjoyed the breakfast basket provided, such a good idea for when the restaurant downstairs is not open yet. The food at the restaurant was very delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals. The place was huge the value wonderful parking right out back great people food, just walk everywhere myself wife and daughter came all the way from the USA and couldn't have ask for better.

Fantastic property and a beautiful room. The ONLY issue was that I wasn't sent the code for the gate in time for my arrival, and had to be let into the car park by another guest. Otherwise, brilliant!

Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new.
