“We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. “Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard.”

“Wow. Amazing to find a Hotel like that in the middle of nowhere. While the decor is dated, the staff and food were great. We didn’t see any squirrels- which was a bit disappointing. Great walks around the area.”
