"It’s a pretty good motel, room clean and spacious. We stayed 2 nights and first night lots of noise from the occupants of room above kept us awake, obviously that’s not the direct fault of the property but sounds do travel through walls and floors. The property is also a little out of the main town so nothing of interest within walking distance. "

"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We needed somewhere easy to stay after our Hobbiton tour and this ended up being an amazing spot. Our room had a lovely balcony with a tree view. The hotel feels brand new and is very well managed. I wish I had gotten her name, but the manager was so helpful and when she heard we were heading north took the time to show us how to pre-pay the toll (which we didn’t even know existed) online. The included breakfast was also great. We would book here again just for the hotel/staff experience. "

"The staff manager was very rude for only giving water bottles. When asked, he placed it on the desk without saying anything and neglected eye contact, continued his work. This was very disappointing if you are asking for something, and get very poor response. When I called for the confirmation of the room, the lady on the phone didn’t respond well too, just asked me to check on the website (the irrelevant answer of asked question). The room was in a decent condition as mentioned on the website. "
