"Beautiful hotel and good restaurant. Problem with their toilet flushing system, which spoilt things a bit. Nice town, but impossible to get dinner before 20.00, so ate at hotel, which was very good."

"I found the hotel quintessentially Italian and lovely but it wouldn't be to everyone's taste eg if you prefer modern. There is air con. Personally I liked the touches like the room door key which I found to be part of its charm. Apollonia (concierge) was always helpful and friendly. "

"the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....
