"This is a beautiful property but I do not recommend booking through Expedia or any third party websites. Customers who book directly from their website get first dibs on booking. The check in process took almost two hours because they overbooked and the only room they had available was a king bed for four adults. They tried calling nearby hotels but according to the Meritage staff the hotels were booked. However, when I called the other properties there had rooms available. That’s when Meritage miraculously had a two queen available. Also shuttle services to downtown Napa is advertised but the driver is not always there so you will have to take an uber. We asked for water and the staff said there is water in the room, when we didn’t even have a room. This was highly disappointing, we came to celebrate my sister’s birthday but spent the afternoon in the lobby. I would’ve understood if the hotel communicated that they overbooked even an hour before we arrived to Napa but even there were no such texts/emails."

"Spacious, well equipped suites. Comfortable beds. Large flat screen tv in both the bedroom and living room. Included breakfast is very good with many hot and cold items available. Only downsides are that some of the furnishings in our room are beginning to show their age and should be replaced. Also, when our room was cleaned, only one new towel was provided for the two of us, and whoever cleaned the room also removed the soap bar we had brought with us."

"The property was better than we imagined. I brought my wife to Napa for the first time to celebrate her 50th birthday. I let the concierge know in advance and they really took care of us with a room upgrade, wine and bubbles with strawberries along with a handwritten note wishing her a happy birthday. The property was really nice and clean and the staff was fantastic. They have a nice pool, courtyards with games, a nice bar and restaurant. It is also conveniently located across the street from the vine trail and between downtown Napa, St. Helana and Calistoga. If you are thinking about staying here, go for it. You won't be disappointed."

"The property is amazing with vineyard views. Nice gardens, pool and two fire pits. We enjoyed our second floor balcony!! The included cooked to order breakfast was delicious. The included parking and EV charging were an added bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! "
