"We had a very enjoyable stay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, with a special mention for housekeeping, who did an excellent job and were always pleasant. Our panoramic bungalow was great — quiet, comfortable, and with a wonderful view. It felt very peaceful, which was exactly what we wanted. The hotel grounds were also beautifully kept and clearly well looked after. The main area for improvement was breakfast. There was a good spread, and the cold food was very good, but it became a bit like Groundhog Day, with exactly the same food every morning and even the same music tracks playing at the same times each day. The English-style hot food was poor: the bacon was more like warmed-up ham, the scrambled eggs were lumpy, and the sausage was inedible. One other point: although this is advertised as an adults-only hotel, we did see several youngsters who looked as young as around 14, which felt a little odd given the description. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing stay and would still recommend the hotel, especially for the setting, the views, the quietness, and the excellent staff. With a better and more varied breakfast, it would be even stronger."

"To set expectations, this is not a 5 star hotel by today’s standards. I’m sure it was 5 star 15 years ago, but this is a dated property in desperate need of updating to live up to the 5* tag they claim. The beach had sewer smells, the gym was a token gesture to dated fitness equipment with no aircon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a welcome surprise. Very wide range of food and good quality ingredients. The bedroom was clean and welcoming. Would I stay for a week. No. Would I stay a night before a flight. Yes. Just be clear on what you are expecting from this property."

"Great facilities. Ideal for families. Lovely little resort outside the hotel. Had comfort room with sea view. Very basic, no hair dryer, only 2 plugs so not ideal for 3 people with phones etc. Bathroom needs renovation and room was very noisy. Gorgeous views. Has crepes and ice cream parlour. Pizza pasta and salad bar. Sandwich hotdogs tacos bar. Loads of food choices. Would stay here again but in a better room. Friendly staff and daily room cleaning."

"Lovely location with very helpful staff throughout the property- from the front desk to the restaurant to the pool and bar areas. People went out of their way to take care of us. Small details could use attention- broken curtains in room letting light in the morning, old hair dryers, stains on some furniture (lots of kids around). Also, there were some noisy weddings and events that made it difficult to sleep on two nights and crowds of families arrived at the middle of the week making pool space unavailable. Great recommendations from concierge for restaurants in old town and nearby Benitses."
