I bring my family here every year because it is a very family oriented beach. It is not overcrowded or touristy. Everyone is so friendly. My kids love the beach and the water being more clear than most beaches near Maryland.

Loved the area. Very relaxing, people walking and riding bikes. Very quiet.
I am familiar with Duck community. Went to Corolla because we had the family pet. Only stayed overnight. Too far north for me.

We enjoyed climbing to the top of the lighthouse as well as our tour of Whalehead. Visit Outer Banks Brewing for some good beer. Stop in at Bacchus for beer and/or wine flights.
