Very convenient location

This hotel is an excellent midtown location. It is within short walking distance to Penn Station so has good links to the rest of the city and beyond. It is also very close to MSG, so would be ideal if attending a concert or game. There are hundreds of eating options within walking distance. The hotel itself is modern and clean. The room was reasonably spacious in NYC terms. It had a desk, small wardrobe and was equipped with fridge and safe. It also had several USB charging points which was a bonus. The tower is narrow, so most rooms were close to the elevators. However, while they were audible they were not noisy or disruptive to sleep. Staff were friendly and efficient. There was some construction noise at a nearby building at the back of the hotel, often going on until around 9.30pm but I'm sure this was temporary and obviously out of the control of the hotel. There were often some interesting "characters" and streetpeople in close proximity of the hotel entrance, but you're not going to avoid this in the midtown area. I never felt unsafe. I would stay here again...don't expect luxury, it's a quality midrange hotel.
