“Everything was great, as far as facilities go. Perfect location for old town, port, restaurants, bars, etc. Very enjoyable experience. Cartagen̈a is great. To check in, however, there's a small, sliding-glass door to the office, to the right of the actual apartments where you have to check in. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you're driving, it takes a bit of work. I parked nearly directly in front of the apartment into a "yellow" parking zone. The staff will give you a discounted parking card...

“Starting with the location — the hotel is roughly a 15 minute walk from the port, which sounds fine until you realise it’s all downhill on the way there, meaning it’s all uphill on the way back. So if you enjoy returning from dinner feeling like you’re training for a mountain expedition, this is the place for you. The room itself was average at best. The balcony however was completely overrun with bugs, so sitting outside in the evening turned into more of a wildlife experience than a relaxing...
