"This hotel always have excellent staff in all their areas, specially in the Breakfast Restaurant! The less friendly staff is usually at the check-in but during the night shift. We are remodeling our house in Benalmadena and we always stay here as well as friend and family!"

"It’s a cruise ship atmosphere. Lots of people, lots of things to do and see, nightly entertainment. Must be ok with crowds during the high season. And the humidity in Malaga is REAL. None of the hotel common areas have air conditioning"
Hotel ILUNION Hacienda de Mijas

"Great view from the property. We liked the place overall. They have onsite parking for a fee or you can park on the street which is not busy since this hotel has a rural location. The only annoying thing we found was that the pool "closes" at a certain time (7 pm comes to mind) and they literally put up a fince around it to keep everyone out. In the morning the pool is not available until almost noon. The town of Mijas seems like a total tourist trap but has some decent food if you can find the place! The town is built into a hill and the streets are steep and winding. Free parking is limited but there is a garage if all else fails."
