“Waited in line about 25 minutes to check in with my kids – the men behind me were cursing up a storm in line. Finally got up to the front of the line and was checked in by the general manager, who didn’t even greet me or say one word other than to ask for my ID and then hand me the keys to the room.Fountain in front of the property is green and it smells like a sewage plant. Therefore, when trying to relax by the pool, directly behind said fountain, that is also the smell that you get....

“This was a very clean hotel. Breakfast was good and it was only 3 minutes from Children's Mercy. The shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and a good shower head. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the beds were horrible. Not just in our room, but also our daughter and granddaughter said they didn't sleep well because the bed was so uncomfortable. We had king beds in both rooms, so I can't speak for the queen beds.”

“The team is excellent and the overall stay was good. I would just make sure to let them know when you want cleaning and replacement of items in the room like coffee when staying multiple days.”

“Great place to stay, very rustic with great amenities. Beautiful pond in the back with walking paths. Very relaxing outside. The staff was great too. They also had an indoor to outdoor pool. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because we thought the mattress was a little uncomfortable and they could use better pillows. It was conveniently located to restaurant and the Cable Dahmer Music Venue.”
