“A lot of parking space. Staff are helpful. Room is spacious and clean.”

“Turned up 30 mins after booking and was charged a “late check out fee” cos I checked in after a certain time but there was no mention of this on the website and it was actually booked after the time they stated!”

“Lift out of order and as I am not able to walk far was a disadvantage Room far too hot some rooms had a fan but not ours. Bathroom door would not close which needed adjustment”

“Stayed four nights, but didn’t get around to using the spa unfortunately. The hotel is nice, and made a change from the chain hotels I normally stay in, but it was about the same price at this time, so why not. Reception staff were nice. Chambermaids were polite and helpful.”

“Arrived on Sunday evening. Had been held up at an engagement but had a table booked during my journey for 20.45. Arrived at the pub/reception at 20.53 (booking line stated I had a 15 minute grace period). Told rather rudely that the kitchen had closed ages ago. I pointed out that I'd booked a table for 20.45 to which the reply was 'well it's now 20.53'. I stated that the booking said there was a 15 minute grace period and I had been stuck in traffic during my 2 hours drive, so couldn't help...

“The Stuart Hotel is close to the train station and shops making it an ideal place to stay in Derby.”

“We stayed at Littleover Lodge for 2 nights in the mezzanine room with our toddler whilst visiting family in the area. The room was huge, albeit a bit basic, with a downstairs area that was great for our toddler to play in, and the hotel provided us with a travel cot for him. Everything was clean and tidy. The rooms are a bit dated and are maybe due a bit of TLC, but it doesn't affect the experience. We were in the room right next to the pub and couldn't hear anything, even on the bank holiday...
