"The staff were very helpful and obliging; the room was comfortable and had a sea view. It also had a TV, which was not advertised on the website - an omission which should perhaps be rectified. As to breakfast, I was a bit disappointed that there was no fruit available as an option - but no objections were raised when I brought in my own supplies. Despite a fair being in operation on the green opposite, it was very quiet - EXCEPT on the Friday night when there was a function with loud music on in the room downstairs until midnight ; I suppose one has to accept that when staying in a hotel open to the public, and fortunately it was only the one night. And it also meant I could get a meal at the hotel on the evening I arrived, which was a plus. So on the whole I had a very pleasant stay."

"We had a really lovely stay. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, full English was fresh, hot and tasty. Great options with cereal, fruit, toast, pastries which we enjoyed. The bar was great and because we had lovely weather we were able to sit at the patio area. We used the bus to get into town and the bus stop was right outside the hotel. We will definitely return and have already recommended to family and friends to visit the hotel."

"The grounds of this hotel and all the main areas are kept beautifully. We stayed for 4 nights and our room was lovely, and also cleaned to a very high standard. Staff were very good and attentive in all cases However, what you have to be aware of with this hotel is the number of weddings. We would certainly dine at the hotel again, as the food was really excellent. Of course, weddings do create some noise which isn't always wanted. Enjoyable stay."
