“The Copper Beeches is a 15 minute walk from the South Downs Way. I received a very warm welcome and my stay couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you so much. ”

Location was excellent for easy access to Gatwick, only a five minute bus journey to the North Terminal. There is a good pub, less than ten minutes walk away and a petrol station/convenience store nearby. The price was also very good for a late booking. “The room was very well appointed, but as it was next to the reception it was a little noisy. The staff were pleasant. Well worth the stop to catch a flight from Gatwick.”

“As another reviewer stated, it's a bit quirky in decor and furnishings. Needs heavier drapes or shades on windows and layout of the family "suite" unusual with access to the tiny loo room and shower through the smaller bedroom, which doesn't have a door. Lovely host, good coffee/tea selection.”

“The room is well-decorated. And the host is kind. But the room was little noisy. My room was outdoor A/C unit view. I was surrounded by them. So that machines made a lot of noise. There is no E/V.... and the stairs ate complicated. If you have big luggage, you should think again to stay here. And one more thing, bathroom floor was not clean and was slippery though I didn't spoiled anything.”
