Everything was really good other than the lack of privacy and the locks on the doors. Children can easily reach door locks and get out if they wanted too and the unit i was in had no curtain in the big kitchen window
Nice big room. Very clean and tidy. Good heating which is a must for Cromwell in the winter. Lots of parking for a bigger vehicle. Quiet setting.

The unit we got was prefect for a quick overnighter with three kids. Spacious lounge which lead out to a shared green area to romp about on. Good value for money. The unit itself was pretty old school, but as I say for an overnighter with kids it was sweet as.

It was the most expensive on our trip from chch to Te Anau and the oldest most run down The Bed was old and hard and water in shower was extremely high pressure too much for the kids and not overly warm either
Loved staying here, owners very friendly and accommodating, spacious, comfortable, warm, great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, playgrounds, heated pool leisure centre etc. Pool on site, some play equipment for kids, area for kids to safely play outside. This property had the best layout ever for families! The kids beds are in the bedroom so you can put them to bed, then the parents bed is in the huge living area so you have your own space where you can boil the kettle, watch tv, go in and out to the car etc while your kids are sleeping. Absolutely the best layout ever. We would definitely recommend this property.
Negatives are very minor and would be that the picnic tables, play equipment and bbq need an upgrade.
Owners were great to deal with. Good facilities. Nice and close to Highlands.

Needs a bit of an update! - but in saying that the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfortable, and we were warm and cosy for the night at - 1 degree temperature, so all in all a very pleasant stay!! 😁
